Domo Raising $200M More
American Fork, Utah-based Domo, one of Utah's unicorn technology startups, is raising a $200M funding round, with $100M recently closed as part of a Series D2 extension. The funding--first disclosed in a regulatory filing with the SEC--says that the new round of funding is being managed by UBS Securities, with 36 investors so far involved in the funding. The funding reportedly was done at a pre-money valuation of $2.3 billion, and came from such investors as BlackRock and others. Domo is led by serial entrepreneur Josh James, whose last firm, Omniture, was acquired by Adobe in 2009 for $1.8 billion. Domo had been rumored to be eyeing an IPO.
