Pelion Leads Investment In AI Startup Neurala
Salt Lake City-based venture investment firm Pelion Ventures is the lead investor in an investment round for Boston-based artificial intelligence startup Neurala this morning. Neurala said it raised $14M in a Series A funding this morning, led by Pelion Ventures, and also including Sherpa Capital, Motorola Ventures, SK Ventures, Idinvest Partners, and Draper Associates. The company was seeded by Tim Draper, 360 Capital Partners, and Haiyin Capital. Neurala develops artificial intelligence software used for self driving cars, drone navigation, robotic toys, and more.
