Transtek Magnetics Acquired By Bourns

Transtek Magnetics, a manufacturer of custom transformers, inductors and coils, used for electrical isolation and voltage conversion in power electronics circuitry, has been acquired by electronic components manufacturer Bourns. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Transtek Magenetics had its sales and support operations in Tucson. Bourns is a manufacturer of a wide range of electronics components, and is based in Riverside, California. Both Transtek's Tucson and Chinese operations will become part of Bourns as part of the deal.
