Mountainside Medical Acquired By Tecomet

Boulder-based Mountainside Medical, a provider of contract manufacturing of medical components and instruments for the medical device market, has been acquired by Tecomet, a fellow contract manufacturing firm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Tecomet is based in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Tecomet said the buy will help bolster its capabilities in minimally invasive surgery applications. Mountainside Medical was founded by Peter and Susan Neidecker.
