Zayo Wins Deal To Connect Paris, Marseille

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo says it has been selected for a big carrier deal in France, to connect a carrier between Paris and Marseille. According to Zayo, it will provide 100G connectivity between the two cities, part of a network it acquired from Viatel back in 2015. Zayo said the contract will deploy a 100G coherent system over its existing fiber network between the cities, which connect via Lyon. Financial details of the win were not announced.
