Rachio Links Into Nexia Home Intelligence

Denver-based smart water controller developer Rachio has linked its systems into the smart home controllers from Nexia Home Intelligence, the companies said this week. The deal allows Nexia's smart home systems control outdoor watering via Rachio's Iro Smart Sprinkler Controller. Nexia is a part of Ingersoll Rand. Rachio's sprinkler controller uses moisture sensors, software, and real time weather data to adjust outdoor watering schedules.
