Alianza Wins Cable Companies

Lindon, Utah-based Alianza, which provides cloud-based, voice-over-IP services, said it has signed up three, separate cable companies as customers of its service. Alianza said that Blue Ridge Communications, Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations (SELCO) and WEHCO Video have all signed up to use the company's cloud voice platform. Financial impact of the three wins were not announced. Blue Ridge Communications has more than 150,000 customers in northeastern and southeastern Pennsylvania; SELCO serves Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; and WEHCO Video serves 6,500 subscribers in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
