Alianza Wins Satellite Operator

Lindon, Utah-based voice-over-IP services developer Alianza reported this morning that it has been selected by satellite operator ViaSat, to power a new broadband satellite residential voice service. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. Alianza said it will power ViaSat's new Exced Voice service, a voice-over-IP service which is tied to ViaSat's high speed satellite Internet services. Alianza said ViaSat currently has approximately 300,000 subscribers for its newly launched Internet service.
