Rally Software Acquired By CA Technologies For $480M

Boulder-based agile software developer Rally Software has been acquired by enterprise software giant CA Technologies, in a deal worth $480M, the companies announced Wednesday afternoon. According to CA, it will pay $19.50 per share for publicly held Rally. Rally has approximately 500 employees, and had fiscal 2015 sales of $88M. Rally was advised by Deutsche Bank and Cooley LLP in the deal, with CA being advised by Qatalyst Partners and Wilson Sonsini.
