Treehouse Interactive Acquired For $17M
Salt Lake City-based Treehouse Interactive, which develops cloud-based partner and channel management software, is announcing today that Kennet Partners and investor Joe Wang have acquired a majority stake in the companyfor $17M. Wang, who is the former CEO of LANDesk Software, will become Chairman and CEO of the company. According to the company, Craig and Erich Flynn will continue on with the company, with Craig Flynn serving as EVP of Engineering, and Erich Flynn becoming Chief Revenue Officer. Wang--aside from leading Utah's LANDesk--was most recently the turnaround CEO of WatchGuard Technologies, and sold his prior company, 20/20 Software, to Symantec. Treehouse Interactive's software is used to manage channel sales, including such things as deal registration, handling of marketing development funds (MDF), partner portals, and more.
