IQNavigator Opens German Data Center
Denver-based IQNavigator, which develops software used for vendor and non-employee workforce management, said this week that it has opened up a new data center in Germany. The company said the move is part of a move to expand its European footprint, and follows the recent hiring of a sales and support team in Munich. IQNavigator said its establishment of the new data center in Frankfurt helps it comply with strict, European data privacy legislation, and keeps its client data near point of origin. IQNavigator said the new center meets the standards of the EU's Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC. Data privacy has become a hot button issue with European companies who do business with US companies, since the US has much looser regulation of privacy and data storage.
