Boulder Electric Vehicles Shuts Facilities, Mothballed
Lafayette, Colorado-based Boulder Electric Vehicles, a startup developing electric powered light and medium duty trucks, has shutdown its facilities in California and Lafayette, laying of around a total of 90 employees, and "mothballed" the company. The move was first reported by the Los Angeles Daily News. The report cited CEO Carter Brown in saying that the company has "essentially mothballed" the company, which is not filing bankruptcy. The company now appears to be seeking buyers for the assets.
