MakeMusic Merges Into Peaksware

MakeMusic, a developer of music technology and software based in Minneapolis, has merged with Boulder, Colorado-based Peaksware, the companies said Wednesday. Both companies were already owned by LaunchEquity Partners. According to Peaksware, its CEO, Gear Fisher, and its executive team will assume leadership at MakeMusic. The companies said that LaunchEquity Partners took MakeMusic private in 2013.
