Amedica Taps Kyocera For Manufacturing Effort
Salt Lake City-based Amedica, a developer of spinal fusion devices and other medical devices for use in total hip and knee joint replacements, said Tuesday that it has entered into a collaboration with Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corporation, to manufacture its medical devices. Amedica said Kyocera will manufacture its devices at its Vancouver, Washington facility. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Amedica's medical devices are being aimed at the orthopedics and spine surgery market.
