Gnip Adds Expion

Boulder-based Gnip said this morning that it has added a new partner, Expion, a provider of social media marketing tools. According to Gnip, Expion is using Gnip to access social data from Tumblr, Disqus, and GetGlue. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Gnip provides an online service which allows companies to access social data across a large set of social data providers, for their data analytics and warehousing efforts. Gnip is headed by Chris Moody.
