Gnip Adds Instagram, Bitly, Reddit To Social Data API
Gnip, the Boulder-based provider of software APIs to access the rich trove of social media data, has made a major expansion to its data, adding data from Instagram, bitly, Reddit, Stack Overflow, Panaramio and Plurk. Gnip said it has added those service to its Enterprise Data Collector product. As an example of how the new social services make sense to social marketers, Gnip pointed to the use of Instagram, geotagged data for brand monitoring and tracking photos for natural disasters. Gnip did not provide details on pricing for accessing the information data from the various social services.
