SolidFire Fuels Up With $31M For Solid State Storage
Boulder-based SolidFire has scored a huge, $31M funding round this morning, for its solid state storage systems. According to SolidFire, the Series C funding it received today came from Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (Samsung Ventures) and insiders. The investment came as SolidFire announced a brand new, solid state storage product called the SF9010. SolidFire develops flash-based, solid state storage systems aimed at the cloud infrastructure market. The company is led by Dave Wright. SolidFire has now raised around $68.0M in funding.
