SolidFire Certifies With RackSpace

Boulder-based SolidFire has certified its solid state disk storage systems with cloud hosting provider Rackspace, the company said this morning. According to SolidFire, the certification covers Rackspace's private cloud software powered by OpenStack and its SF3010 and SF6010 storage systems. SolidFire didn't say if its solid state data storage products are incorporate into any current OpenStack service offerings, however, Rackspace has been offering up flash-based block storage options through its own cloud services since October of last year.
