Kickstart Seed Fund Ventures Into RackWare

Salt Lake City-based venture investor Kickstart Seed Fund has just made an investment into cloud computing technology developer RackWare. Rackware said it raised $3M in a Series A funding round today, including both Kickstart Seed Fund and Osage Venture Partners. Kickstart Seed Fund's Gavin Christensen joins the company's board, as does a representativie from Osage. Rackware is developing cloud-based products which it says help integrate datacenter and cloud resources into a scalable and intelligently managed computing environment. The new funding looks to be one of the first from Kickstart Seed Fund's new fund, which it raised in April. More information »
