Net Nanny Aims At Monitoring Social Networks For Parents
Net Nanny, the developer of parental, Internet control software aimed at helping parents figure out what their kids are doing online, is expanding its business today with a new product aimed at monitoring the social networking activity of kids. Net Nanny, which is based in Salt Lake City, said its new Net Nanny Social service lets parents monitor when their kids add friends, view photos and videos their children are posting and viewing from friends; monitor online discussions for cyber-bullying and stalking; and more. Net Nanny said the cloud-based service currently monitors Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Flickr, Pinterest, Photobucket, Pandora, Orkut and MySpace.
