Sorenson Capital Promotes Three, Hires New VP
Salt Lake City-based private equity and investment fund Sorenson Capital announced Wednesday that it has promoted three executives at the firm, and hired a new VP. The company said it has promoted Mark Ludwig to Managing Director, Don Blohm to performance group operating partner and Peter Sturgeon to principal. The company also said it has hired Bert Roberts as Vice President.
Ludwig has been at Sorenson Capital for over a decade, having joined the company as an analyst; Ludwig was previously Chairman of NCS Energy Services, and also has served at Bain and Company; Blohm has been at Sorenson Capital since 2010 as Performance Group Vice President, having also served at NCS Energy Services, Mity-Lite, Re-Bath, and Goal Zero. Sturgeon has been involved with Sorenson's investments in Southeast Directional Drilling, M&M Pipeline Services and RWI Construction. The company said that Roberts has been involved in Sorenson's investments in Health Catalyst and AccessData Group, in addition to having served at Wasatch Advisors.
