Sorenson Media Adds Execs, Promotes Two

Salt Lake City-based Sorenson Media, which develops video encoding software, said this week that it has named a new VP of Marketing and Trategy, Eric Quanstrom. Quanstrom joins the firm from SightSpeed, and has also served at Appellation America and Fox Online Properties, which operates FOxSports.com, FoxNews.com, and Fox.com. Sorenson also said that it has promoted Kirk Punches to Vice President of Sales, and Mark Ivins to Controller. Punches has previously served at Launchpad Marketing Group; Ivins has been at Sorenson Media for two years managing thef irm's fiscal accountability, and has been at Authorize.net and KeyStone Learning Systems.
