AviaCode Gets Strategic Investment

Salt Lake City-based Aviacode, which provides medical coding services and software, has scored a strategic investment from healthcare investment firm Heritage Group, Heritage announced today. Size of the investment was not disclosed by the companies. According to the companies, the funding will go towards accelerating the growth at Aviacode. Aviacode provides remote medical coding services and software to hospitals and physician offices, and is headed by Dave Jensen. The firms said that Brentwood Capital Advisors was the financial advisor for Aviacode in the deal. AviaCode is one of the local firms which has tapped into the expertise over at SageCreek Partners, the business consultancy which has a significant number of ex-Altiris execs, which helps companies grow their businesses.
