Dropship Commerce Snags $4.3M For Supply Chain Software
Are you an online retailer or manufacturer finding it difficult to manage all of your operations? American Fork, Utah-based DropShip Commerce has a solution for you, its own cloud-based, software aimed at helping retailers and manufacturers manage all of their drop shipping through a single platform. To do that, DropShip said it has raised $4.3M in a funding round this morning, to help it scale out its operations and meet demand. The funding included $2.8M from the founders of the company, along with funding from KickStart Seed Fund, Peterson Ventures, and TechStars' founder David Cohen.
DropShip is headed by Jeremy Hanks, and says that its products streamline systems integration, product collaboration, and order management between retailers and manufacturers, providing a solution for virtual supply chain management. Hanks prevoiusly founded e-commerce virtual distributor Doba, and also founded GearTrade.com, along with LaunchUP.org.
Clarke Miyasaki of Kickstart joins DropShip's board of directors with the funding.
