Venture Capital In The Rockies Deadline Approaches
The deadline for applying to present at Venture Capital In The Rockies Winter Conference, which is held somewhere in the Mountain West region every winter to help showcase local startups, is quickly approaching, and is now set for January 31st. The group, which regularly pulls in one of the largest out-of-town crowd of venture capital, private equity, and angel investors during the whole year, said that the event is set for March 5th through 7th in Beaver Creek, Colorado this year. The firm accepts emerging growth companies with promising prospects, who then present to what the group says this year will be an audience of over 300 venture investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs and service professionals. VCIR Winter has managed over the years to attract investors from not just the local area, but Silicon Valley, the East Coast, and elsewhere, with a mix of startup pitches and time on the slopes; the corresponding fall conference, usually held in September, also attracts a similar crowd.
