Harris Broadcast Communications Acquired By Private Equity Firm

Denver-based Harris Broadcast Communications has been acquired by private equity firm The Gores Group, in a deal worth $225M, the firms said Monday. Harris Broadcast Communications, which was part of Harris Corporation, develops hardware and software used by broadcasters for managing and distributing video. The companies said the move is part of an effort to turn Harris Broadcast Communications into its own, independent company.
