Go Daddy Continues Holiday Party Run
Scottsdale, Arizona-based domain name and hosting provider Go Daddy has a reputation for over-the-top holiday parties--and apparently wants to keep that reputation alive. The company said that over the weekend, the company had another big party where it awarded $1M in prizes to employees, and donated $2M to the Semper Fi Fund, a nonprofit helping injured military veterans. The company said the entertainment came from the B-52's ("Love Shack") and also included a impersonator doing South Korean rapper's Psy's "Gangnam Style". The company did not say how much it spent again on the party, which was held at Phoenix's Chase Field. Go Daddy said it generated $1.3 billion in sales this year.
