Remedy Informatics Snags Funding From Merck
Salt Lake City-based Remedy Informatics said Tuesday that it has scored a growth capital investment from Merck, via Merck's Global Health Innovation Fund (GHIF). The investment was worth $6M, with Merck taking a seat on Remedy's Board of Directors. Remedy Information is headed by Gary Kennedy, and is developing clinical registries, medical research software, and other research informatics software aimed at the life sciences research area. The firm said its clients include the Cleveland Clinic's Heart and Vascular Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, Baylor Health Care System, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Indiana University and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Genentech, and others.
