Aventura Gets $14M

Denver-based healthcare software developer Aventura said Monday that it has raised $14M in a Series C funding round, for its healthcare workflow optimization software. The startup--led by John Gobron--said the funding was co-led by Safeguard Scientific and Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (Merck GHI), and also included prior investors Excel Venture Management,HLM Venture Partners, and Memorial Care Innovation Fund.
