Avnet Buys Pepperweed Consulting

Phoenix-based Avnet, the electronics distribution giant, said today that it has acquired an IT management and integration provider, Pepperweed Consulting. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Avnet said that Pepperweed has had more than 3,000 successful engagements with Fortune 500 clients and large scale government agencies, and had revenues of approximately $12M in 2011. Avnet said the buy wil help expand its services and software portfolio.
