Sorenson Media Launches New Cloud Functionality

Sorenson Media, the developer of video encoding and transcoding software, reported today that it has launched a number of new functions on its Sorenson 360 online video platform. The company, which has major operations in Salt Lake City, said its platform now includes streamlined review and approvals, which helps users notify clients of changes to videos on the service via SMS text or email. Sorenson 360 is Sorenson Media's online, cloud-based hosted video service. The service is being used by video production and other video professionals to host videos online, for access by clients and others.
