Alliance Health Networks Names Chief Data Scientist

Salt Lake City-based Alliance Health Networks, the provider of health related social networking and information services, has snagged the former CTO of Evri, Deep Dhillon, as its Chief Data Scientist, the company said today. Dhillon was previously CTO of Evri, a developer of smart search applications; he also has served at insightful Corporation/Tibco and Cantametrix. Alliance Health networks is venture backed by New World Ventures, Physic Ventures, Highway 12 Ventures, and EPIC Ventures. The company operates a network of disease-and-condition specific websites which help provide health information and networking to patients.
