Intermap Ties With Software Firm Blue Marble

Denver-based Intermap, the provider of digital mapping information and data, reported this morning that it has inked a strategic partnership with software provider Blue Marble. Intermap said that the deal will integrate its NEXTMap dataset with Blue Marble's Global Mapper software. Blue Marble's software is used for geographical information systems at software, oil and gas, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies. Other details of the partnership were not announced.
