TerraLUX Gets $18.3M For LED Lighting

Longmont, Colorado-based TerraLUX, which develops solid state lighting products, reports that it has raised $18.3M in a new funding round, a Series B round for the company. The firm said the round was led by Generation Investment Management, and also included Emerald Technology Ventures and Access Venture Partners. TerraLUX, which develops LED light engines, said the funding will go towards growth of its business. TerraLUX is headed by Mark Verheyen. Colin le Duc of Genreation Partners has joined the company's board with the funding. More information »
