TerraLUX Ships LED Engine

Longmont, Colorado-based TerraLUX, the developer of LED light engines which is venture backed by Emerald Technology Ventures and Access Venture Partners, said today that it has production released a new product. The firm said it has had a production release of its Line Voltage Linear LED Engine, which connects directly to mains voltage and does not require any LED drivers or wiring. TerraLUX develops solid state, LED lighting aimed at replacing incandescent bulbs in commercial lighting.
