Avnet CFO Plans Retirement

Phoenix-based electronics distribution giant Avnet said this morning that its CFO, Ray Sadowski, is planning to retire. Sadowski, who has served as the firm's CFO for the past 19 years, and at Avnet for a total of 33 years, will remain in place until a successor is found. Avnet said it has engaged Crist/Kolder ASsociates to assist in a search for a replacement. Avnet is one of the largest electronics distributors in the world.
