Computer Software Associates Acquired By Tyler Technologies

Billings, Montana-based Computer Software Associates, a developer of financial management systems for schools and county governments, has been acquired. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Computer Software Associates was acquired Tyler Technologies, a publicly traded software firm which develops software for the municipal government and education market. Tyler said that CSA, which was founded in 1982, had approximately $8.2M in total revenue in 2011. Approximately 60 employees of CSA will join Tyler Technologies as part of the acquisition.
