Provista Diagnostics Raises $5.0M
Phoenix-based Provista Diagnostics, a developer of cancer detection and diagnostics technology, said today that it has raised $5.0M in a Series A funding round. The firm said the funding came from institutional investors, but did not announce the names of those investors. As part of the funding, Jeffrey Gilman of the Louis-Dreyfus Family Office, Anne Busquet of AMB Advisors/Golden Seeds, and John Macaskill of Groton Partners all join the company's board. Provista said it will use the funding to complete a confirmatory clinical trial and FDA 510(k) submission for its blood test for detecting breast cancer. More information »
