Wayin Raises $14M
Denver-based Wayin, an online social polling and entertainment site, said today that it has raised $14M in a Series B funding. The funding came from U.S. Venture Partners, along with TIBCO Software, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and angels Burt Sugarman, Michael Meldman, Ben Van de Bundt, Doug Burgum, Greg Jamison, Jim Gray, and Christian Lawless, among others. Wayin's site allows users to vote up or down on topics, opinions, photos, and more. The firm was founded by former Sun Microsystems founder Scott McNealy. Rick Lewis of USVP joins the company's board with the funding. More information »
