Gevo Sues DuPont, Butamax Over Patent

Englewod, Colorado-based Gevo, the developer of biofuels processes, has sued DuPont Co. and Butamax Advanced Biofuels for patent infringement in the Delaware District Court. Gevo alleges that Butamax and DuPont have infringed on a patent for alcohol fermentation processes developed by the company. Gevo is seeking damages and a jury trial.
