IHS Acquires CMAI

Englewood, Colorado-based information and analyst firm IHS is on an acquisition roll, saying today that it has acquired Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI). CMAI is a provider of advisory services for the petrochemical, specialty chemicals, fertilizer, plastics, fibers and chlor-alkali industries. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. IHS has been acquiring firms at a rapid rate in the past month, having just acquired ODS-Petrodata on April 18th, and Daydem International, Ltd. on April 27th.
