Micron Technology Expands In China

Boise, Idaho-based memory maker Micron Technology said Tuesday that it has expanded its operations in Xi'an, China. The firm said it is expanding an existing facility in Xi'an, having completed a second semiconductor Test and Module Assembly building in the location. Micron said the new, 400,000 square foot building will better accomodate its Asian customers. The firm has been in the location since 2007, and has over 1000 employees in the location.
