AdvancedMD Sold To ADP

Salt Lake City-based AdvancedMD Software, which develops practice management and electronic health record software to the health industry, has been acquired by Automatic Data Processing, according to Francisco Partners, the private equity owner of AdvancedMD. Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed. Francisco said that AdvancedMD has approximately 200 employees, and is used by more than 10,000 physicians across the United States. AdvancedMD was advised by Jeffries & Co., and Shearman & Sterling LLP in the deal.
