AdvancedMD Buys PracticeOne

Salt Lake City-based AdvancedMD Software, a developer of software-as-a-service tools for medical practice management, announced today that it has acquired PracticeOne, a provider of electronic health record software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to AdvanceMD, the buy will expand its AdvancedMD Practice Management product to include a software-as-a-service, EHR solution. AdvancedMD said the deal did not include PracticeOne's biling service, which was sold prior to the acquisition.
