Fusion-io: More Than 15 Petabytes Shipped

Salt Lake City-based Fusion-io, the well-backed developer of flash based storage, said today that it has shipped more than 15 petabytes of its enterprise flash products in the past 12 months. The firm said the products are being used in data centers for enterprise applications, database acceleration, virtualization and cloud computing environments. Fusion-io is venture backed by Meritech Capital Partners, Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Triangle Peak Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, and has raised over $111M in funding.
