Intrado Wins Wisconsin Carrier

Longmont, Colorado-based Intrado, a developer of 9-1-1 services equipment for telecommunications carriers, said Thursday that it has signed an agreement to provide its 9-1-1 services to Wisconsin wireless carrier Element Mobile. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Intrado's hardware is being used to provide better accuracy in locating mobile phone callers to emergency workers. Intrado said it now has over 80 wireless carriers, covering over 160 million subscribers, using its products.
