TriZetto Claims Patent Win

Greenwood Village, Colorado-based TriZetto Group said today that its NetworkX Pricer software application is expected to be awarded a patent by the United State Patent and Trademark Office. The firm said the USPTO issued a Notice of Alowance for its patent, which covers simplifying the pricing of healthcare claims. The number of the patent application was not announced. The firm said the patent has been in the application process for almost a decade. Trizetto develops healthcare information technology used for managing benefits and healthcare claims.
