TriZetto Buys ClaimLogic

Denver-based TriZetto Group, the provider of healthcare information management services, has acquired ClaimLogic, a medical claims and payment processing company. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. TriZetto acquired ClaimLogic through its wholly owned subsidiary, Gateway EDI. TriZetto said the buy will imrpove the work flow processes between providers and hospitals, and the health plans that pay for that care. TriZetto said that ClaimLogic's clients include Emory Healthcare and University of Virginia Physician's Group.
