Ping Identity Ties Into ArcSight, Other Tools

Denver-based Ping Identity, a developer of single sign-on software for the enterprise, announced an upgrade to its products today, saying that it has connected the software to ArcSight, an enterprise threat and risk management provider. According to the firm, it can now send logging data ArcSight, making it easier for IT and security organizations to track unauthorized application access and other security information. The firm also said the software now works with Microsoft's latest developer tools, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, among other enhancements. ping's software is used to enable a user to use just one username and password to log into all of a firm's various enterprise software applications.
