Orbotix Gets Funding From Foundry Group

Fort Collins-based Orbotix, a stealth mode firm developing devices that connect consumer electronic devices to phones, has raised a round of venture capital funding from the Foundry Group. According to Ian Bernstein, the CTO and co-founder of Orbotix, the Series A funding was led by Brad Feld. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. Gearbox was a Summer 2010 Boulder TechStars firm. As part of the funding, Paul Berberian has become CEO of the firm. Berberian was co-founder of Market Force Information, Raindance Communications, LINK-VTC, and other firms.
